Significant financial help is available, making a Yakima Valley College education an affordable way to prepare for high-demand, high-wage jobs. More than 80% of YVC students receive grants, scholarships or other aid to help pay for college. With one form, you can apply for all types of financial aid — including aid that you don’t need to pay back. In fact, thousands of students qualify for free or reduced-priced education through the Washington College Grant every year. To be eligible, apply for financial aid either using the FAFSA or the WASFA, not both. Even if you don’t think you qualify, it pays to apply. You may qualify for big opportunities you didn’t know existed.
Start here. Save money. Transfer almost anywhere. Your credits will follow you! Approximately 40% of those completing a bachelor’s degree in Washington first earned their two-year transfer degree from YVC or another community/technical college.
