Applications are now being accepted for Yakima Valley College’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology Networking — System Administration (BASIT) program for the Spring Quarter 2024. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 26.
YVC’s BASIT degree prepares students for a variety of information technology careers such as network or database administrator, network support specialist, computer systems analyst, information systems manager and systems engineer.
The BASIT program is designed for students who have at least 90+ credits or have earned an associate degree and desire a pathway to a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. YVC’s program combines lower division technical and transfer courses with upper division credits in information technology, resulting in an application-oriented, four-year degree. Full-time students can finish the program in two years, once prerequisites have been met.
