Spring Quarter Admissions

New or returning students seeking a degree or certificate must complete their application online and pay the application fee for the 2025 Spring Quarter by February 18

Spring Quarter registration for part-time, non-degree/certificate-seeking students will take place March 24 - March 28.

Bachelor of Applied Science Information Sessions

Community members are invited to learn more about Yakima Valley College’s Bachelor of Applied Science Degree programs during online information sessions taking place Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. And Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 12-1:30 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m. YVC’s programs are designed for prospective students who have earned an applied associate degree and need a pathway to complete their applied bachelor’s degree. Join the information sessions via Zoom, click the above times for meeting links. 

  • Tuesday, February 18, 2025: 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m & 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Financial Aid Workshops

Get help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) from YVC’s financial aid experts! Staff will be available to help answer questions from students and their families in both English and Spanish to help maximize the financial aid you receive.

 These workshops are open to the community and free of charge. Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to attend with their students.

Refreshments will be provided.

High School & Beyond Events with Yakima Valley Partners for Education 

Yakima Valley College representatives will participate in “High School & Beyond” events sponsored by Yakima Valley Partners for Education this winter and spring. The events, which are conducted exclusively in Spanish, provide information to families about post-high school opportunities available to students who will be graduating from high school soon or who recently graduated from high school.

YVC and other local community organizations will share information about their services to help students and their families take informed next steps for their life and career. A warm meal will be provided for everyone during this fun learning experience!
