The Running Start Program offers eligible high school students the opportunity to enroll in college classes at YVC’s Yakima and Grandview campuses during their junior and senior years and receive both high school and college credit.
By participating in Running Start, students can:
- Get a head start on college
- Save thousands of dollars in college tuition costs
- Attend classes full- or part-time
- Select and sample diverse classes
- Transition to college life
- Enter their chosen profession more quickly
