The Yakima Valley College Drama Department will host auditions for its fall production, the Tony Award-winning musical comedy “Avenue Q,” September 13 & 20 from 6 – 9 p.m. in Kendall Hall Auditorium (Building 12) on the college’s Yakima Campus. Performances will be November 9-11 and November 16 – 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Ray Pritchard, drama instructor, will direct the production with musical direction by Steven Slusher, director of choral music.
Auditions are open to the community with roles for actors of various genders ages 18 and older; YVC students will be given first consideration for all roles. No theater experience is necessary. Those auditioning should prepare a short song and accompaniment. Song selection can include either a karaoke track or sheet music to sing to.
