Degree Pathways
What are your career and life goals? Select one of six pathways. YVC’s pathways are
groups of related degrees and certificates. Associated with each pathway is a team
of academic advisors who will assist you in focusing your time at YVC to meet your
education and career goals.
Programs A-Z
Search through all our programs. Five different bachelor of applied science degrees, 55 associate degrees, and over 100 certificate of achievement programs in fields including business, healthcare, education, STEM, computer science, basic skills, art and more.
Running Start
Earn high school and college credit. The program offers eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to enroll in regular college classes on our campuses or online and to receive both high school and college credit for those classes. Running Start students do not pay tuition.
Income-Based Tuition Assistance
YVC offers special funding options for current and prospective students interested in workforce education programs and training. Receiving food assistance from DSHS? On unemployment? Low income student? Working at a daycare? You could qualify for funding!
Finish
High School
Finish your high school education through one of our programs. Earn your high school
diploma or let us help you pursue your GED. Our GED classes prepare you to successfully
pass the GED and open the door to new future opportunities.
Learn English
English as a Second Language/English Language Acquisition (ESL/ELA) classes are for non- or limited English-speaking adults who want to learn English. Classes combine listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with an emphasis on listening and speaking skills.
Online Learning
With courses in almost every subject, our Online Education program makes attending class convenient. Online courses teach the same course material as a regular class. The only difference is that everything — lectures, assignments, and tests — is done online.
Continuing Education
Continuing Education courses and workshops may be offered in a variety of fields,
including but not limited to recreation, conversational languages, music, business
and financial planning. We offer adult family home orientation training and flagger
training.

The Course Catalog is the official publication of record regarding courses offered; degree and certificate program outlines and requirements; and additional policies and procedures for the campus. It also includes important policies and procedures. The catalog is available online.
