About Michelle Coville

I love that I can change the trajectory of someone’s life by giving them an education that will make them a success in society. Each year I am impacted by seeing the change in students as they transition through our Radiologic Sciences Program. When students enter our program, many are timid, nervous, and lack confidence and when they leave, they are confident, knowledgeable, capable members of society that can go out and change the world in a positive way. I love sharing my stories and knowledge with students so that I can make an impact; it is very meaningful to change lives.

By taking my classes, you will master the art of Radiologic Sciences. You will learn how to use technology and computers to assist in diagnosing and healing patients. In the Radiologic Sciences Program, you learn to work as a team that cares for their community’s health. You will be able to comfort and ease patients’ physical and emotional pain and assist in their care and recovery. Also, the field is ever-changing with new technology and science. The radiology field is not monotonous, it is one that each day is different and unique. This field opens up a career in which you can change positions and jobs with the same education or with little extra education you can earn higher wages with additional credentialing.

I love to learn about new and innovative imaging technologies that are being researched and developed. Technology of medicine is intriguing. Right now, the topic of Artificial Intelligence in medicine is one that fascinates me, and I cannot wait to see how this is further implemented into the imaging sciences to diagnose and heal our patients.
