About Krista
I love working with the community here at YVC, and encourage students to come visit the Larson Gallery and to take advantage of its free art programming! We host a variety of exhibitions throughout the year, and they rotate every couple months or so. I'm also a resource for students who are interested in careers in the arts or cultural resource management -- feel free to email me to set up an appointment if you want to talk, or just send me a question.
We also have work-study positions at the gallery, so keep your eyes out for openings if you are interested! My own interests are in painting from observation -- particularly plants as a subject matter. My paintings and drawings use a wide variety of media, including oil paint, watercolor, and egg tempera.
