Yakima Valley College recently selected Tessa Southards for the winter Employee of the Quarter Award. Southards is a procurement and supply specialist 3 in accounting services.
The Classified Employee of the Quarter Award is presented quarterly to one employee who demonstrates a high level of job performance, quality customer service and adherence to YVC’s mission and core themes.
“We’ve recently lost the Director of Business & Accounting Services, Angela Anthony,” shared one colleague. “This is a tremendous loss to our department. Since then, Tessa has helped out tremendously. She has assisted staff in completing user acceptance training. She continues to help in areas that may need additional support in ctcLink. Countless times Tessa has demonstrated her leadership skills and continues to contribute to our department in many ways.”
Employees who have been employed by YVC for at least one year are eligible for this award.
