Students fill bags with food and personal care items in the community pantry on the Yakima Campus. YVC opened pantries on both the Yakima and Grandview campuses during winter quarter where students can pick up pre-packaged bags of groceries, quick meals, snacks and personal care items.

Surgical technology student practices with simulator
A surgical technology student practices on a new virtual reality training simulator purchased by YVC. The simulator will help YVC students develop the laparoscopic skills they need in the operating room. The virtual environment enables students to develop knowledge of key procedure steps in minimally invasive surgery and mastery of counter-intuitive camera and instrument movement.
