They saw the need and acted upon it generously. This scholarship goes further than most realize. Vendors offer discounts to students in the program, so this money can be stretched to go further. Tools are a major investment for any technician and to get a head start is significant to students who are making a sacrifice at this moment to better themselves and community tomorrow. My hope is that our students get the same sense of community and not only pick up this ‘torch’ but strive to continue in passing it on.”
