Tuition and Financial Aid Application Information

To qualify for financial aid, you need to apply. In Washington, there are two different applications for financial aid, but you only need to file one.

  • File the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) if you are a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • File the WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) if you are not eligible to file the FAFSA due to immigration status.

You will need to apply for an FSA ID at studentaid.gov if this is your first FAFSA. You will sign your application using your FSA ID. Dependent students’ parents will also need to create an FSA ID. Be sure to write down the ID and password as you will use them each year to renew your FAFSA.

You can also find the information that we request on the Financial Aid Student Portal.
