Technology Training & Continued Learning

TECHNOLOGY TRAINING: 

  • We offer non-credit, hands-on, computer software workshops. The workshops are geared to upgrading your skills in the workplace.
  • The workshops take place in a YVCC computer lab equipped with Windows and Microsoft Office 2003.
  • The average workshop length is two to four hours.
  • The cost is usually between $25 and $200, depending on the number of hours in the workshop.

ONLINE NON-CREDIT CONTINUED LEARNING: 

ed2Go Logo

YVCC has a contract with ed2go to provide non-credit, on-line courses on a variety of subjects including workplace skills.

  • Classes start every month on either the second or third Wednesday and continue for approximately six weeks until completion.
  • Lessons are made available every Wednesday and Friday during that time period.
  • Lessons usually take an average of two hours to complete.
  • You can access your lessons wherever you have internet access twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Click on the “Courses” button on the right-hand side of your screen.
  • Select the department for your class.
  • Locate your class title and click on it.
  • To purchase the course, click the “Enroll Now” button.
