Education Planner
Placement Testing:
- Take the placement test at your earliest convenience after completing the YVCC Admission Application and receiving your acceptance letter. This test is required for all students. It will determine your placement into English, Reading, and Math courses. This is also a prerequisite for other classes. Your test scores will be active for two years.

- If you have taken placement test at another college within the past two years, please have the scores sent to the Admissions Office. If you have attended another college or university, please request an official copy of your transcripts to be sent to YVCC.
- When you have completed the Application for Admissions and taken the placement test, you will be scheduled for an Orientation, Advising and Registration appointment.
It is very important to read all
correspondence and information from YVCC and follow directions carefully.
